Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is excited to be representing an established client looking for a Payroll Administrator within their team in Ipswich due to expansion on a part time basis of 22.5 hours per week. There will be opportunities to increase this during busier periods.
The Payroll Administrator will have experience with SAGE Payroll software and be able to work to set time frames whilst being non comprisable with attention to detail. This is a hybrid role, working closely with the team.
Core Responsibilities of Payroll Administrator:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly payroll runs under the supervision of the Payroll Manager
  • Work closely with clients, ensuring all information is maintained
  • Process advised changes including tax code, bonuses, pay rates all by agreed cut off dates
  • Deal with enquiries from clients, their employees, and relevant authorities
  • Administer pension auto-enrolment
  • Calculate holiday pay, SMP, SSP, SPP
  • Process starters and leavers
  • Load BACS payments
  • End of month and year end submissions
  • Completion of P45 and P60s
  • Process all reports including the submission to HMRC
  • Issue payslips to employees and a breakdown summary to each client


The ideal Payroll Administrator will have:

  • Strong SAGE Payroll software experience
  • Ability to process multiple payrolls
  • First class attention to detail
  • Remain calm under pressure
