Casanovas Recruitment Solutions have a long-term temporary contract working as an Accounts Assistant within an innovative and diverse manufacturing company based in Maldon, Essex. This role is available to start in September and will continue until December 2024 for the right candidate. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and assisting with the preparation of management and statutory accounts and ad hoc assignments.

The role will include:

1. Assistance with preparation of month end accounts including posting of monthly journals such as prepayments, accruals, provisions and depreciation
2. Assistance with Balance sheet reconciliations including movement analysis and commentary
3. Assisting with variety of finance projects requiring implementation
4. Support on year end statutory audit requirements
5. Assisting with bi-weekly cash flow forecasting
6. Capex reporting and fixed asset register maintenance
7. FX reporting
8. Ad-hoc cover for AP/AR Specialist by processing invoices and payment runs
9. Other ad hoc requirements as assigned by finance manager

The company are looking for an Account Assistant that can demonstrate excellent attention to details and has very good all round verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work as part of team

Candidates applying for this position will ideally be part qualified (CIMA) and have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
