Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is excited to be representing an established client looking for a Bookkeeper within their team in Ipswich. Whilst this role is hybrid in Ipswich, there will be a need to travel to Colchester and clients’ places of work within local travelling distance.

Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who has demonstrable experience with all aspects of bookkeeping including VAT returns, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks; though this is not an exhaustive list of systems.  
Core Responsibilities of Bookkeeper:

• Visiting client premises to work within their space to help with their accounting systems
• Assist with accounting enquiries promptly, confidently, and accurately
• Completing quarterly VAT returns
• Maintain bookkeeping records
• Set up accounting systems
• Confidentiality of all intellectual property
• Support clients in maintaining their own systems

 The ideal Bookkeeper:

• Methodical in approach
• Pro-Active in resolving any issues
• Experienced using a variety of accounting systems
• Confident in speaking with clients and taking ownership of own work
• Compassionate and professional
• Own car due to location
