Casanovas Recruitment Solutions are excited to be representing our client that is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager based in Witham.

The role:

To ensure the smooth operation of the company’s Accounts Payable function, ensuring financial transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.

Accounts Payable:

· Process purchase invoices through the invoice capture system

· Posting purchase invoices into ERP system daily, matching invoices with goods receipts and purchase orders, including dealing with multiple currencies and units of measure

· Distribution of invoices to Functional Managers for approval, assisting with queries and ensuring timely return of approved invoices

· Preparing and processing regular payment run documentation

· Supplier account set up and maintenance.

· Ensure accounts payable email inbox is monitored and emails are dealt with promptly.

· Look to improve existing processes, seeking opportunities to streamline and achieve efficiency gains.

Person Specification:

· Desire to succeed in a Finance career

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Team player with excellent communication skills

· Experience of dealing with invoices showing varying Units of Measure

· GCSE/A Level (or equivalent) in Accountancy/Business Studies

Qualifications/Experience required:

· GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths

· GCSE/A Level (or equivalent) in Accountancy/Business Studies

· Experience of complex accounts payable transactions (including multi-currency)

· Experience of ERP/MRP systems and “three way matching” process

· Experience of dealing with invoices showing varying Units of Measure

• IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook
