Job Title: Recruitment Coordinator

Hours: Full time, 9-month FTC
Location: Colchester
Casanovas Recruitment are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join the team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in sourcing, attracting, and onboarding a skilled workforce to meet both current and future business needs. Working within a highly regulated industry, you will collaborate with various departments and ensure recruitment processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities of the Recruitment Coordinator:
Participate in job fairs, networking, and industry-specific events to enhance employer branding and attract top talent
Develop and maintain both active and passive talent pools
Conduct industry research for benchmarking and manage recruitment requisitions
Write job descriptions and advertisements to attract candidates through targeted campaigns
Source, shortlist, and conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidate suitability
Manage the new starter process, from application to offer and onboarding and conduct pre-employment assessments and checks
Work closely with hiring managers and the People & Culture team to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process
Ensure all new starter processes comply with legal and industry-specific requirements, including Right to Work (RTW) checks, medical screenings, and training compliance
Support hiring managers in understanding and implementing best recruitment practices
Identify and coordinate training routes to support candidate development and upskilling
Track and report key talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and retention rates, ensuring effective recruitment strategies
Utilise modern recruitment technologies to streamline processes and enhance candidate experience
Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in all talent acquisition and retention strategies
Required Skills & Desired Experience:
2+ years of recruitment administration experience
Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
Strong knowledge of ATS & CRM software
Excellent communication and organisational skills
HR knowledge, including employment law and employee lifecycle management
