Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is excited to be representing an established client looking for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist within their Finance team in Maldon.
Our client is looking for at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role to take full ownership of both the payables and receivables sub ledgers with responsibility for month end reporting.

Core Responsibilities of APAR:

• Maintain supplier accounts, ensure all details are up to date and correct
• Process invoices (PO, non-PO & intercompany invoices) through Navision ERP (250+ per week)
• Prepare statement reconciliations
• Work closely with Supply Chain teams and Suppliers to ensure that any queries are resolved quickly; Handle all supplier queries
• Produce and process weekly payment runs, issue remittance advices
• Reconciling and allocating company credit card payments
• Produce month end reports such as aged creditor report and stock received not invoiced report for submission to Europe and US HQ’s. 
• Continually improve processes
• Assisting with annual audits
• Ensure all transactions in our bank accounts are recorded in an accurate and timely manner; Prepare daily & weekly bank reconciliations
• Actively manage overdue debtors, working to guidelines of credit insurers
• Raise any applicable rebate credit notes
• Produce month end reports such as aged debtor and bad debt reports
• Other ad hoc requirements as assigned by finance manager

 The ideal APAR will have:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good excel skills (Pivots, Vlookups etc..)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Team Player
• Ability to work independently
