Job Title: Financial Accountant

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 p.a.

Hours: Full time

Location: Stansted

Casanovas Recruitment Solutions are seeking a detail-driven and commercially minded individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial reporting standards. Main areas of responsibility:

• Prepare high-quality monthly management accounts
• Assist in the production of financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
• Monitor and record financial transactions with accuracy
• Support the development and management of company budgets
• Analyse financial data using ratios and trend analysis to highlight areas for improvement
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns
• Contribute to audit preparation and ensure compliance with relevant standards

Required Skills & Desired Experience:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Strong financial analysis skills with advanced Excel and data manipulation capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and working knowledge of international standards
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP/accounting software
• Understanding of ESG and environmental reporting
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance and audit procedures
• Proven budgeting and forecasting expertise
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
