Stock Conditions Assistant

Basildon | Full-Time | Temporary (6-Month Contract)

Are you an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and strong customer service skills? We’re looking for two Stock Conditions Assistants to join a busy property team on an initial 6-month temporary contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, coordinating appointments and supporting the delivery of housing services. The role is office-based three days per week.

The Role

As a Stock Conditions Assistant, you’ll provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of stock condition surveys and help maintain accurate property records.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Stock Condition Team.
  • Maintaining and updating the stock condition database.
  • Arranging survey appointments and keeping tenants informed.
  • Logging and reporting property issues identified during surveys.
  • Producing reports and maintaining key performance information.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to help resolve access issues and coordinate surveys.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Accurate data entry and database management skills.
  • Experience dealing with customer enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive approach with great attention to detail.
